Web 2.0
Web 2.0 encapsulates the idea of the proliferation of interconnectivity and interactivity of web-delivered content. Web 2.0 is the way that business embraces the strengths of the web and uses it as a platform.
Web 1.0 - www is the platform – run apps in browser - static content Web 2.0 - Users own and exercise control over data. It encourages users to add value to the application as they use it. This stands in contrast to traditional websites, the sort that limited visitors to viewing. Only the site's owner could modify content.
Web 2.0 does and should include events across the network and feeding BI, using space/location to provide geographic relevance to BI, search and presentation, and then discuss the collaboration and people aspects of the practical application of BI.
